I'm enrolled in a class called, "Introduction to Information Technology" at Erie Community College and I am majoring in Cybersecurity. I am hoping to absorb some useful knowledge from this course to complete my short term goal of getting a few of the CompTIA Certifications towards the end of my first year of college. I plan on starting with the A+ exam. This could open the door to help-desk jobs and allow me to start building connections in the IT field before I finish my degree. In the course I'm hoping to learn a large chunk of what is asked in the CompTIA A+ Exam as well as develop a strong firm foundation of knowledge in IT.
While, I have fallen behind on my work and am working to get caught up, I will say the workload is manageable and the way the course is set up is very neat, organized, and informative. I find all the content easy to find and pull up as well as easy to absorb and understand.
